We all like to save money where we can. But when it comes to medical and dental procedures, we don’t want to pay for shoddy products or less-than-professional work. For thousands of people, this has meant forking over extra cash for Invisalign and similar procedures for straightening teeth.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could get cheap Invisalign that wasn’t, well, cheap? Or instantly find the cheapest Invisalign treatment in town? Or just find good Invisalign deals?
The Cost of Invisalign
The cost of any alignment correction is going to be significant no matter what kind of treatment option you go with. That means you should consider any treatment an investment in yourself. Things like speed of treatment, comfort, limitations on what you can eat, and ease of keeping your mouth clean and healthy during treatment are all considerations you should balance against the overall cost. For example, you can see how these factors play out in considering the overall cost and benefit of Invisalign vs. metal braces.
Overall, we have noticed that the cost of Invisalign can vary wildly. Some offices will offer it for as low as $3,600 while others go as high as $8,000. Of course, the actual amount you pay will depend on how how much work your mouth needs, and whether insurance will pay for all or part of your Invisalign.
Invisalign Deals and Invisalign Coupons
Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, there are no general Invisalign coupons or deals good everywhere. But individual orthodontic offices offer their own deals from time to time.
If you live in North Carolina or Southern Virginia, you can easily see the current deals we are offering through our MyOrthodontist locations. All you have to do is visit this page.
Check back often, as we frequently run seasonal deals!
Finding the Cheapest Invisalign Treatment
Even within a given metropolitan area, there will be several orthodontic offices offering Invisalign. How do you find out which one has the cheapest treatment?
The important thing to keep in mind is that, first and foremost, you should trust your Invisalign provider. You should feel comfortable in their office and feel, with each visit, that he or she is capable and professional. If you don’t have that, the treatment is much less likely to succeed.
In fact, we’re usually willing to work with patients on price if they seem committed to the treatment. In other words, don’t shop for price first. Shop for trust, then ask about what you can do to keep the price reasonable. For example:
- Ask if your insurance will cover all or part of Invisalign
- If not, ask if you qualify for a more flexible payment plan
- Ask about alternatives like Smile Club, which lets you go through much of the Invisalign treatment process from home, via mail
Finally, we ask that you be very wary of deals through sites like Groupon, etc. Many of these deals will seem too good to be true. That’s often because they are. For example, some offices will offer $1,500 worth of Invisalign for $40. What they don’t tell you is that the total cost of the procedure is more than three times that amount (over $6,000), and the price doesn’t include the initial x-rays, the follow-up retainer, etc. (all of which are overpriced, too). In other words, the deal sounds great, but the office gets their money one way or another.
